HCM CITY (VNS) — Hanh Phuc International Hospital on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding with Genea, a world-leading fertility clinic in Sydney, on a collaborative partnership for the transfer and development of fertility-treatment technology and services.

Under the MoU, Hanh Phuc will co-operate with Genea through the latter's appointed joint-venture partner in Thailand, Superior ART, a high-tech assisted reproduction and genetics company in Bangkok.

The co-operation, which brings together fertility-service giants from different countries, will help Viet Nam and other countries in Southeast Asia have a greater choice of international-standard fertility treatments in Viet Nam, Thailand and Australia.

The three sides to the agreement aim to extend their expertise to Hanh Phuc's fertility centre in order to help patients significantly improve their chances of a healthier pregnancy and child.

Hanh Phuc is the first Singapore-standard hospital in Viet Nam. It opened in 2011 as a women's and children's hospital, and in the short span of three years, was granted a multi-specialty hospital status. — VNS
