HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Saigon Securities Inc (SSI) remained the top brokerage firm on both local stock markets in the third quarter of the year.
Last quarter, SSI held a market share of 14.26 per cent and 10.8 per cent on the HCM Stock Exchange and Ha Noi Stock Exchange, respectively.
As the top securities company on the two local markets, SSI saw its third-quarter revenue in brokerage activity and margin lending increase by 50 per cent and 53 per cent year-on-year to VND125.4 billion (US$5.57 million) and VND113.5 billion, respectively.
At the end of the third quarter, SSI recorded revenue of nearly VND690 billion and pre-tax profit of VND406 billion, an increase of 80 per cent and 50 per cent from a year ago.
After the first nine months, SSI earned total revenue of nearly VND1.7 trillion and pre-tax profit of VND900.7 billion. — VNS
