HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — SC VivoCity shopping mall in District 7 is celebrating its first anniversary with entertainment programmes and promotions between mid-August to October 2.
The mall has set up a "moon town" where shoppers can partake in the season's celebrations by decorating lanterns and experiencing folk activities.
Children will be treated to games and hands-on activities such as making moon cakes, coconut-leaf animal toys and ‘ti he' (traditional toy figurines made of colored rice flour).
The highlights of the event will be water puppetry performances from September 2 to 4, the play ‘Chú Cuội' inspired by Vietnamese folklore about the man in the moon on September 10 and a moon dance performance on September 15.
September 18 will see a full day of celebration with special performances, live shows and lucky draws.
