HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Samsung Vina Electronics Company on April 28 officially launched the new SUHD 2016 television.

The new television, using Quantum Dot technology and the high – dynamic – range (HDR) up to 1000 nits (a brightness measurement unit) and curved design, allows users to easily access all the entertainment content from a single place.

Quantum Dot are nano scale semiconductor devices that tightly confine either electrons or electron holes in all three spatial dimensions.

The new product will give the true picture with brilliant brightness, excellent contrast at the most natural colour.

Built on the Tizen operating system, Samsung's SUHD 2016 will make it easier for consumers to discover and access all their favourite content and services, from TV and movies to games and program information, all in one place.

The product will be sold at a price from VND31.9 million (US$1,428) to nearly VND200 million, depending on the size of the television set. — VNS
