Lotte Center Hanoi celebrates its first anniversary

HANOI (Biz Hub) — Luxury skyscraper Lotte Center Hanoi will mark its first year of operations on September 2, 2015.

Lotte Center Hanoi with gross floor area (GFA) of 253,402sqm - on 54 Lieu Giai Street in Ba Dinh District of the capital - has a unique design inspired by Viet Nam's traditional ao dai.

Built with advanced technology and eco-friendly construction materials, the environment-friendly building is said to withstand high intensity earthquakes.

The US$430-million tower, built over five years, came into operation in 2014, becoming the symbol of the strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Korea.

The building has a world-class business centre with grade-A business offices, 318 luxury hotel rooms, 258 serviced residence and department store, as well as a modern observation deck and skywalk on the top floor that offer a panoramic view of the city.

The vision towards 2018 of the Lotte Group is to become one of Asia's top 10 Global Groups. To attain this goal, the group is expanding its business overseas, especially in developing markets such as Indonesia, India and China, besides Viet Nam. In fact, Viet Nam is the group's strategic market to reach other ASEAN ones.— VNS
