HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Vietjet's newest aircraft arrived at HCM City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport from Hamburg in Germany on July 25.

The aircraft – an A321ceo with sharklet wingtips – is the latest version of Airbus' single-aisle family and the first-ever aircraft in the world to feature 230 seats.

This unique design helps reduce fuel costs, CO2 emissions and noise levels. Furthermore, the A321ceo with sharklets is also designed to boost cabin efficiency, while maximising passenger experience.

With this addition to its fleet, Vietjet now has 26 new and modern A320s and A321s, helping the new age airline to improve its service quality and expand its network in Viet Nam and across the Asia-Pacific region.

The new aircraft will enable Vietjet to meet its expansion plans, Vietjet Managing Director Luu Duc Khanh said.

"We are wholly committed to operating new aircraft, while continuously upgrading our fleet to bring our passengers greater comfort and maximum convenience when flying with Vietjet," Khanh said. — VNS
