HA NOI (Biz Hub) — TH Group has won the ASEAN Best Food Award for its line of milk products with micronutrient fortification.

The award was presented at a ceremony in Manila, the Philippines, late last week.

Granted by the Federation of the Institutes of Food Science and Technology in ASEAN, the award honours the best food products from each ASEAN country.

TH Group's "line of micronutrient fortified milk products" includes three sterilised milk products – TH School Milk, TOP KID, and TH true milk sterilized fresh milk with calcium.

These milk products are processed at TH Group's milk processing plant in Nghia Dan District, Nghe An central province, with all materials sourced from within the district.

The first phase of the plant has been operational since 2013, processing 200,000 tonnes of fresh milk annually. The plant's capacity will be raised to 500,000 tonnes by 2017. — VNS
