HA NOI (Biz Hub) — TP Bank and Viet Nam Mobile Telecommunication Company (Mobifone) officially launched a co-brand visa card, for the first time in Viet Nam, combined with customers' recognition and payment cards, on May 29 in Ha Noi.

The card with several advanced features and preferences is free for all high-class members under Mobifine's long-term connection programme. Customers could use the card to enjoy attractive incentives from Mobifone as well as payment for goods and services.

TPBank has applied the lowest fee and interest rate for visa card in the banking system. Card owners will be given lower interest rate of 3–5 per cent in comparison with other banks if they avail for loans from the bank. This visa credit card enables customers to buy first and pay after (with a 45 day interest-free period).

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Nguyen Dinh Chien, Mobifone's deputy general director, stated that he expected the card members will have opportunities to enjoy preferences from the combination of advanced technologies in telecommunication and banking sector.
