HA NOI (Biz Hub) ― Sacombank Vice Chairman Kieu Huu Dung was appointed chairman of the bank on Monday, replacing Pham Huu Phu, who has resigned for personal reasons.
The bank will hold an annual shareholder meeting in HCM City on Tuesday. The merger with Phuong Nam Bank, or Southern Bank, is an important issue that is scheduled to be discussed at the event.
Sacombank shares closed up 0.9 point at VND20,900, or US$0.99, per share on the HCM City Stock Exchange on Monday. ― VNS
