HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Military Bank (MB) received a first-class labour order at its 20th anniversary ceremony last week.
Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh said despite economic difficulties and fierce competitiveness, the bank had been dynamic in renovating management, participating in the State Bank of Viet Nam's monetary policies and strictly following State law, army discipline and tax duties.
The bank plans to raise its charter capital from VND11.25 trillion (US$535.71 million) to VND15.50 trillion ($738.10 million) this year, according to a resolution of its shareholder meeting in April. — VNS
