HA NOI (Biz Hub) ― By August 31, commercial banks began financing home buying and renting for individual customers with a total committed amount of VND105.32 billion (US$5.02 million), as part of the Government's programme to assist the property market this year.
The State Bank of Viet Nam reported on Wednesday that, of the sum, Vietinbank registered VND29.47 billion, Vietcombank VND44.89 billion, BIDV VND16.3 billion, Agribank VND8.4 billion and Mekong Housing Bank VND6.26 billion.
They disbursed a combined value of VND69.4 billion ($3.3 million).
For businesses buying or renting houses, BIDV registered a loan value of VND658 billion ($31.33 million) and Agribank committed VND50 billion ($2.38 million). They had disbursed VND44.46 billion ($2.12 million) in total. ― VNS
