HCM CITY (Biz Hub) ─ The Viet Nam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank's (Eximbank) Vice Chairman Pham Huu Phu will also be its general director, following a management board decision issued on October 29.
The bank had appointed Phu as acting general director last May to replace an official named Nguyen Quoc Huong, who had resigned.
Phu was chairman of Sacombank between late 2012 and March 2014. He was one of the three people who had represented the more-than-10 per cent stake of Eximbank at Sacombank till March 2013, according to the Thoi bao Ngan hang (The Banking Times) online.
Eximbank has changed its general directors thrice since September 2013. ─ VNS
