HA NOI (Biz Hub) ― Eximbank chairman Le Hung Dung was appointed acting chairman of the Viet Nam Football Federation (VFF) on Thursday to replace Nguyen Trong Hy who resigned due to health reasons.
Dung is also the chairman of the Saigon Jewelry Co Ltd (SJC), but is expected to resign from the post early next year to enable him to concentrate on his role at Eximbank.
Eximbank has sponsored the V-League VND90 billion (US$4.28 million) over the past three seasons, a record amount for the nation's top professional football league. ― VNS
