Eximbank appoints senior figures

HA NOI (Biz Hub) ― Eximbank acting general director Nguyen Quoc Huong was appointed general director of the bank last Friday.

He replaced Truong Van Phuoc, who has assumed the position of vice chairman of the National Finance Supervisory Council in August.

Huong began credit work at Eximbank in 1993 and now controls over 41,600 shares, or 0.6 per cent of the bank's total equity.

He holds a master of economics degree from the University of Economics HCM City, according to Dien dan Doanh nghiep (the Business Forum).

The bank also appointed Nguyen Quang Thong, a management board member since 2007, as a vice chairman as of last Friday. ― VNS
