HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – Joint-stock DongA Bank has signed a contract with the EVN Southern Power Company (EVN SPC) to collect fees for electricity bills in the southern cities and provinces.
This partnership will benefit customers of both parties. The collection will be done free of charge at the bank's offices, via its e-banking system, and automatic reductions from the customers' account, authorised by customers.
Initially, 21 cities and provinces includingLam Dong, Binh Thuan, Kien Giang and Ca Mau will take part. The bank's general director, Tran Phuong Binh, expects the service to expand to the entire country soon.
The HCM City-headquartered bank serves seven million customers and runs a network of 245 branches and transaction offices. — VNS
