NGHE AN (Biz Hub) — The Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV) has approved a loan for the Vissai Cement Group worth VND6.3 trillion ($296 million) to build a cement factory in the central province of Nghe An.
The factory's total investment capital is estimated at VND10.5 trillion ($493.5 million).
Construction of the factory started in February, and is expected to take 18 months to complete.
The factory will have an output capacity of 18,000 tonnes of clinker per day, equivalent to 7.2 million tonnes per year.— VNS
