Đà Nẵng cuisine centre attracts thousands of visitors

Thousands of tourists and people from Đà Nẵng city have been flocking to the cuisine centre at No. 1 Phan Đăng Lưu street to enjoy the various delicacies being served there.

The cuisine centre is part of the promotional activities undertaken for the Đà Nẵng International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2017.

Visitors are not only excited with the vibrant sound of the unique lion dance performance, but are also happy to meet with family members and friends, while enjoying a warm dinner, including dishes served by popular chefs from the top restaurants and hotels in Việt Nam.

The culinary space is divided into five parts with dishes served in accordance with five basic elements, including Hỏa (Fire), Thổ (Earth), Kim (Metal), Thủy (Water) and Mộc (Wood).

The food stalls are always teeming with eager patrons.

Nguyễn Thu Hà from the central city of Huế said: "I am happily surprised to see that they have created a cuisine space, as part of the DIFF 2017. This place is uniquely decorated, the food tastes wonderful, the menu is plentiful and the pricing is reasonable. My children love the fried foods here, and I liked the crab noodles.”

From the stage, sweet lyrical tunes by European artists wafted into the air, creating an exquisite sense for the visitors.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the cuisine space, master chef Phạm Tuấn Hải said: "We have selected 20 restaurants with specialities from the North, Central and South region of Việt Nam. The dishes are varied and changed constantly, so customers can have plenty of choices when they come here.”

“Many famous dishes such as rice paper, pancakes, Quảng noodles, grilled sticky rice, steaks and Italian Panini bread are available,” he said.

The cuisine centre aims to promote the Đà Nẵng International fireworks festival scheduled for four nights between April 30 and June 24. It will remain open throughout the summer, until September.
