Five-element cuisine centre welcomes Vietnamese famous singer

Five-element cuisine space in the centre city of Đà Nẵng has welcomed the presence of Bằng Kiều, a famous singer of the overseas Vietnamese community.

Master Chef Phạm Tuấn Hải greeted the singer and guided him around the cuisine centre, a 4,000-sqm area at No1 Phan Đăng Lưu Street, considered as a rendezvous point for gastronomes and tourists visiting the city, attracting the attention of a large number of visitors.

A food festival is being hosted here by master chef Hải, with each dish costing just around VNĐ100,000 (US$4.4). Hải said the culinary space is divided into five parts with dishes served in accordance with five basic elements, including Hỏa (Fire) - Thổ (Earth) - Kim (Metal) - Thủy (Water) - Mộc (Wood).

“New ingredients are delivered here every day ensuring the quality of food safety and hygiene, all of which are prepared by experienced chefs from well-known hotels and restaurants,” Hải said.

Surprised at the richness of hundreds of dishes food from the north, central and south regions of Việt Nam served in the erotic dining space, Bằng Kiều said, “It will be a pity for those who do not visit this place. This is a full dining space for all the family members to enjoy local and international cuisines, besides playing games and seeing art performances. I can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner for a month without repeating any of the dishes. I will definitely come back here with my family and children."

The cuisine centre and the food festival aim to promote the Đà Nẵng International fireworks festival scheduled for four nights between April 30 and June 24. It will remain open throughout the summer, until September.
